Performer uses TransSoft’s own Perform language for scripting. This allows you to create complex scripts or more simple ones, like performing commonly used functions such as mirroring an FTP site or backing up your data files to an FTP server. The Perform language gives you virtually unlimited power to perform FTP functions without any user intervention.
Unless the SkipLogging functions are used, Performer logs the communications between your computer and the remote server in a file called *.History.log. When a script is started, the old log file is renamed to .History.old and its name is stored in the variable %%OldLogFilename%%.
